I’ve had these Zoo-Med Cork Bark Tiles (link) for a while but finally got around to installing them in my tank. I used three 12x12 tiles (cut a bit off the last one) as the tank is a 20g long 30x12x12. The tiles are easy enough to cut but for anyone buying these and hoping to just place them in their tanks, it’s not gonna happen. The tiles all have a warp to them and do not lay flat on their own. The package suggests using aquarium safe silicone but I’ve also heard people use velcro. I went for the silicone. You definitely need to weigh the tiles down while the glue is still fresh or there’s no way they will stay down.

First time eating a pinky this big. Gave a huge yawn after, fixing his jaw up. Wish I got a pic of that!

More mice than I know what to do with. Pictured are 100 mice. 50 fuzzies (top), 50 large pinkies below. The fuzzies will stay vacuum sealed til my corn is ready to start on them. Was told they will last 18+ months if not opened. Big Cheese Rodents offers the cheapest mice shipped that I could find, and their support is great. Highly recommend them. I mistakenly thought he was ready for fuzzies but turns out he should be feeding on large pinkies. There’s a bit of ambiguity regarding pinky sizes depended on where you get them from. Some places don’t distinguish between sizes of pinkies. What I thought were normal sized pinkies turned out to be small, and what I needed to get were large pinkies rather than fuzzies (which are way too big for him right now). I recommend if you’ve just gotten a snake and are about to buy bulk mice, make sure they are sized and not just labeled pinkies. That said, these mice from Big Cheese Rodents (link) vary in size a bit from quite large to small. Most are large though.
